Red Kites
Welcome to Red Kites!
In Red Kite Class, every day is a chance to learn, grow, and shine. Led by Miss Munro and the fabulous Mrs Cloono, we begin our mornings with a strong focus on core skills—maths, reading, and writing—setting the stage for confident, independent learners.
Our afternoons are a celebration of creativity and curiosity, packed with exciting foundation subjects like Art, Geography, Science, computing, and more. With a warm, supportive atmosphere and a love of learning at our heart, Red Kites are always ready to soar!
Key information for this term:
Monday: Red Kites will be swimming up until October half term, please ensure your child has a swimming kit every Monday.
Wednesday: Red Kites will be accessing Forest School so will need waterproofs in school for these sessions.
Friday: On a Friday, Red Kites will have a spelling test based on the words sent home that week. Friday is also Reading Raffle day (Miss Munro's Favourite!), please ensure your child comes to school with their reading record ready for us to check.
