To achieve this, we implement the Literacy Tree pedagogy, which provides a structured and engaging approach to reading. Regular ‘Instant Publish pieces’ help us tailor support to individual needs, ensuring that every student can progress confidently.

We aim to develop students' ability to craft well-structured, coherent, and imaginative pieces of writing, enabling them to grow and flourish in their academic and personal lives.
Our writing curriculum, supported by the Literacy Tree, provides a comprehensive framework for developing writing skills. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of grammar, punctuation, and spelling (Vocabulary Ninja), alongside encouraging creativity and originality.
