Brigstock PFA

The Parent and Friends Association (PFA) is made up of parents, teaching staff and associates of the school and provides funding for pupil activities and projects.  It also doubles up as wholesome fun for every child within the school!

As a registered charity, the PFA fundraise through ticket sales for special events including discos, arts and crafts events, with some events for the grown-ups thrown in too. 

In previous years the PFA’s fundraising has supported important events such as the Year 6 Leavers activity, Easter eggs for the children and the May Day afternoon tea. The PFA is currently fundraising for a number of key events for children and the funds will be used to support the school’s goal of reducing costs for parents and carers as far as possible. 

Recently the PFA have funded an EYFS and KS1 trip to Lyveden New Bield to have storytime with Father Christmas. Thank you! 

 If you’d like to join the PFA, we’d love to have you as part of our friendly team. The committee meet 2 – 3 times per year to plan events with an Annual General Meeting (AGM) too.
